Graphics Adapter Gigabyte GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost with Modified Frequencies

Taking the lead from a number of Nvidia’s partners, Gigabyte has launched its own sample piece of GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost graphics adapter. It is differentiated primarily by modified GPU and memory frequencies, as well as by an improved PCB design. The latter employs Ultra Durable 2 technology that stipulates the implementation of high-quality hardware components, including ferrite chokes, solid-state capacitors, and Low RDS Mosfets transistors with reduced resistance on mode changes.

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost is based on GK106 GPU, developed under 28 nm technological process. Its nominal frequency has been increased from the reference 980 MHz to 1033 MHz, while its dynamic frequency has been changed from 1032 MHz to 1098 MHz. This graphics adapter is furnished with 1 GB of GDDR5 memory, which clock frequencies have been, vice versa, lowered: nominal index dropped from 1502 MHz to 1250 MHz, dynamic index dropped from 6008 MHz to 5000 MHz.

Patriot Memory Releases High-End Memory Modules

Patriot Memory yesterday announced the release of high-end DDR3 memory modules. According to the words of the company's representatives, their new modules are designed specifically with the intention to boost the performance potential of Intel Core processors (basically of the second and third generations). Codenamed Intel Extreme Masters Limited Edition, these modules are mainly oriented at the inveterate gamers and enthusiasts, ensuring the stable work of high-performance game consoles.

Intel Extreme Masters Limited Edition modules support Intel XMP 1.3 and are able to work at 1600 MHz, 1866 MHz, and 2133 MHz. The new memory modules will go in two-channel and four-channel kits and supplied in 8 GB, 16 GB, and 32 GB volume capacities. The modules operate in 1.5V ranges.

In addition, Patriot Memory's product owns good heat removal properties. The cooling process will be realized by means of solid radiators which were previously employed by Patriot in Viper 3 Series …

Deepcool Announces a Pair of Maelstrom Liquid Coolers

Deepcool has extended Maelstrom lineup of liquid coolers with two new models – the 120T and the 240T. The key distinction between the pair is the amount of 120 mm fans employed (one or two). Both come equipped with red LED backlights and show compatibility with the majority of update Intel & AMD platforms. The maximal supported CPU TDP level makes up 140/150 W.

Deepcool Maelstrom 120T comes with a single fan, whereas its companion, 240T, features a couple of fans, based on fluid bearing with 50.000 hours MTBF. The units run at 1800 RPM, creating up to 83.64/167.28 CFM and 17-34 dB of noise (depending on the model).

Both coolers employ a ceramic pump (70x85.6x31.5 mm), estimated for 120.000 hours of fail-proof operation & running at 2400 RPM. The pump features a copper base with micro-channels, connected with solid rubber hoses and an aluminum heatsink. The new-comers are linked to the system by means of 4-pin connectors.
