Sapphire Announces the Release of New HD 7950 FleX Edition

The market of graphics cards is constantly replenished by new products from established and developing companies. The Sapphire Technology company has made a considerable step in this field and introduced a new graphics card HD 7950 FleX Edition based on Graphics Core Next architecture. This model is distinguished by the capability to connect three monitors with DVI interface simultaneously without the need to use dedicated adaptors. Such welcome option became possible due to the integrated Eyefinity and FleX technologies.



The graphics card enables the connection of 2 monitors with the available DVI ports, and the third monitor – with the HDMI port by means of a special adaptor (that is included in the nominal delivery set). Moreover, HD 7950 FleX Edition is equipped with a couple of Mini DisplayPort video outputs in order to attach additional monitors. The Advanced Cubieboard6 Singleboard PC Is Based on the 4-year Old Model, Though, It Has Refined Components

A new model, namely Cubieboard6, has joined the Cub ieboard singleboard PC family, which emerged 5 years ago. The novelty is of the same size (100 х 60 х 18 mm) as the previous model, the component layout is unchanged; however, parts themselves are updated.


Cubieboard6 is based on the SoC Actions S500, as well as the 28 nm technology. It offers four Cortex-A9 cores and the PowerVR SGX544 GPU. The 2 GB LPDDR3 RAM is supplemented with the 8 GB eMMC module. Cubieboard6 has a microSD slot and a 6 Gbps SATA port. The wireless Ampak AP6212 module supports Wi-Fi 802.11n and Bluetooth 4.0; there is also an HDMI 1.4b video output, two USB 2.0 ports and a Fast Ethernet networking port.


2 x 48pins headers make I2C, MIPI CSI, ADC, CVBS, RGB, LVDS, MIPI DSI, SPI, HSIC, GPIO and other buses available. The device is powered via USB 2.0 or 2-pins header for 3.7 V Li-Po battery.
