Thermaltake Chaser A71 LCS Chassis with BigWater 850 GT on Board

Thermaltake Technology, a renowned Taiwanese manufacturer of PC hardware components, is going to release a new full-tower chassis of Chaser A41 series. Codenamed Chaser A71 LCS, the model distinguishes itself by a black stylish case with blue stripes on the frontal panel, a large transparent window on the side panel, and a gaming-type LED backlight. The overall dimensions of the new-comer are estimated as 537x205x565 mm, while the total weight reaches up 10 kg.

Thermaltake Chaser A71 LCS boasts some incredible capacity facilities. Thus, it is able to accommodate motherboards of E-ATX standard, three external drives of 5.25-inch form-factor, one external drive of 3.5-inch standard, as well as eight internal PCI cards and five bays for 3.5/2.5-inch drives. The chassis is ready to house rather voluminous graphics adapters, the maximal length of which equals to 244 mm, and rather high CPU coolers that reach up 160 mm.

The top facet of the case contains I/O panel that boasts the availability of two USB 3.0 ports and the same number of USB 2.0 ports, a pair of audio slots (for audio peripherals), a dock-station for 3.5/2.5-inch drives, and a dedicated location where one might put his/her smartphone for charge-in.

The availability of on-board CPU liquid-cooling system, entitled BigWater 850 GT, is considered to be the major attractive peculiarity ascribed to Chaser A71 LCS. The system consists of a large 240 mm heatsink, a pump with the efficiency of 500 lph, a reservoir for coolant, transparent fixing hoses with the supports of Dimple Tube technology, a pair of 120 mm fans (rotational speed might alter from 1000 RPM to 2000 RPM), and a copper waterblock compatible with the following CPU sockets: Intel Socket LGA2011, 1366, 1155, 1156, 1150, 775 and AMD Socket FM1, FM2, AM2/+, AM3/+.

Generally, the chassis is cooled down by four pre-installed fans. The first one, 120 mm model, is located on the rear panel and rotates at 1000 RPM with 16 dB noise level. The other three fans of 200 mm dimensional type are located on the top, frontal and side panels; they run at 600 RPM and produce not more than 13 dB noise. All of them are equipped with blue LED. Additionally, the user might install one more fan (120 or 140 mm) on the bottom panel.
