An up-to-date desktop can be performed in a shape, other than a customary PC with a system unit, a mini PC or an AIO. The Hong Kong Acute Angle Co. offers one more form factor, categorized as a computer, embedded into a keyboard. At present, fund raising for such a specialty under the K2 name is conducted.
K2 is a high-end computer, operated by Windows 10 Home operating system. VGA/HDMI connectors allow to link it to any display, projector or a TV-set.
The novelty by Acute Angle is based on the 4-core Intel Atom x5-Z8350 processor. It features 4 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and uses the 64 GB eMMC flash memory for data storage. There is an option to obtain the K3 modification, which is highlighted due to a more powerful Intel Celeron N3450 CPU, 8 GB of RAM and a 128 GB drive.
In the meantime, these computers do not differ exteriorly. Both of them are of 340 × 110 × 30 mm and weigh around 472 g. K2 is incorporated into a stainless steel case and has no fans in its construction. A rear panel contains all essential connectors and a microSD slot. The K2 retail price is $174; K3 goes for $284. Delivering is to start in October 2017.
