HIS Starts Selling Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition in US Market

Hightech Information System presents its own version of AMD's Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition graphics card to the US hardware market. Codenamed Radeon HD 7970 IceQ X2 GHz Edition, this card is characterized by the integration of the most up-dated technologies and high-end components. The model is based on Tahiti XT chip developed under Graphics Core Next architecture template (28 nm technological process).



HIS Radeon HD 7970 IceQ X2 GHz Edition takes blue printed circuit board designed for PCI Express 3.0 x16 bus as the basis. GeIL Officially Introduces Zenith S3 SSD Series

GeIL, which is known for its high-end memory modules, drives, and other PC components, is going to release a new SSD series, codenamed Zenith S3. The series will embrace three models of 60GB, 120GB and 240GB capacity. All of them will be developed in 2.5-inch form-factor and will employ SATA III 6Gb/sec interface. The differentiation between the models is seen not only in their capacities but also in their speed performance, the index of which will be uncovered below.



Zenith S3 line is based on MLC NAND flash-chips designed under 25 nm technological process. As for the speed characteristics, all models in the series prove to demonstrate the maximal performance on random Write operations (4KB) – up to 70000 IOPS. Meeting New Gaming Memory Kits AMD Radeon RG2133



A couple of days ago AMD introduced a new series of DDR3 memory kits within the boundaries of AMD Unified Gaming Strategy development. Codenamed AMD Radeon RG2133, the new-comers are available in two- and four-channel kits, the overall capacity of which equals to 16 GB and 32 GB correspondingly. The most striking feature is that they can be employed as on AMD, so on Intel platforms, supporting AMD AMP and Intel XMP technologies for improved settings optimization.


The other peculiarity is that these memory kits run at 2133 MHz frequency. On such conditions there is always a chance to dramatically increase the system performance up to 22% (with APU AMD A10 on board).
