Review and testing of coolers GlacialTech Igloo H46 PWM and Igloo H58 PWM

The company GlacialTech Inc. known as a producer of cheap cooling systems aimed primarily at the lower and medium price segment. They are intended solely to cool the non-overclocked CPU. At the same time, GlacialTech has already made attempts to produce more efficient coolers that can cope with cooling of processors with high heat. It was the Siberia and Alaska, and F101 even before. Developing on its trend, the company has recently released two new models aimed at the medium price segment. It is about Igloo H46 PWM and Igloo H58 PWM.

New Graphics Card from Elsa with S.A.C. System

Elsa is currently preparing to launch an ingenious graphics card on the basis of Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti adapter. Codenamed Elsa GeForce GTX 650 Ti S.A.C., is considered to be the 'quietest' card available in the market due to the implementation of Silent Air Cooling technology that keeps the noise level at the maximum of 25 dB. Under the manufacturer's ideas, its new creation will perfectly suit those people who long for low-noise desktop system operation.



Elsa GeForce GTX 650 Ti S.A.C. is developed on two-slot printed circuit board of 145 mm in length, specifically for PCI-e 3.0 x16 bus. This graphics solution houses GK106 chip with 768 CUDA cores and Kepler architecture; it's designed under 28 nm technological process. The nominal GPU frequency is estimated at 928 MHz. The maximal index of power consumption approximates 110W.

Presentation of a Professional Graphics Card AMD FirePro W9000

Within the bounds of AMD Fusion Developer Summit, Advanced Micro Devices has presented its new graphics card AMD FirePro W9000. The new graphic solution is based on a couple of 28-nm Tahiti chips and is actually a prototype of Radeon HD 7900 adapter. FirePro W9000 is chiefly targeted at professionals used to work with 3D technologies and video editing applications.



AMD FirePro W9000 is based on a red circuit board developed to work with PCI Express 3.0x16 bus. The cooling system is represented by a solid cooler of active type, a high-end radiator, three 90 mm. noiseless fans and copper heat tubes. The organization of additional power presupposes the availability of two dedicated eight-contact slots.
