The Shuttle vendor is widening its product range with the NC03U mini PC, based on the Kaby Lake Intel CPU. To be specific, the novelty can be operated by the 7th generation Intel processors, from Celeron 3865U to Core i7-7500U, which are dual-core (15 W) chips aimed at notebooks and compact PCs.
The Shuttle specialty is able to hold up to 32 GB of DDR4-2133 MHz RAM. One 2.5-inch hard drive and one M.2 SSD drive can be installed for data storage. NC03U is produced without a discrete video card, however, the integrated graphics tech from Intel allows the system to play 4K video at 60 Hz.
This mini PC obtained such ports as HDMI, DisplayPort, RJ45, RS232, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, USB-C, alongside with wireless interface adaptors and a memory card slot. VESA mountings are also present. The Shuttle product’s dimensions are the following: 142 х 142 х 42 mm.
The cost and the release date of this mini PC, meant for personal or commercial utilization, are unknown, but a previous Shuttle NC02U model goes for approximately $145 (a Barebone set without OS, storage and memory).
