Water 3.0: a New Series of Liquid Coolers from Thermaltake

Thermaltake, a viable designer of versatile PC hardware components, has recently unveiled its new series of liquid cooling systems. Entitled simply Water 3.0, the products constitute themselves as all-in-one cooling solutions with high efficiency and low noise level. The series is introduced by three models, — Water 3.0 Performer, Water 3.0 Extreme and Water 3.0 Pro, — targeting different customer groups.

All liquid coolers included into the lineup consist of a pump integrated into a waterblock, a copper base, a couple of 120 mm fans, and leak-proof pipes which protect the liquid from leakages or evaporation. Heatsink design is individual for each of the models. One should mention that Thermaltake delivers its liquid coolers with dedicated Windows-compatible software for the monitoring and adjustment of all key parameters, including fan rotational speed, liquid thermal conditions, and pump efficiency.

The first model, Water 3.0 Performer, features 120 mm heatsink of a …

Aerocool Puts on Sale Templarius Imperator PSU Series

Aerocool Advanced Technologies has launched one more brand PSU series. This time the line of products has been entitled Templarius Imperator to correspond to its magnificent design. Magnificence is seen in an elaborate combination of style and color: instead of traditional black and gold colors, the manufacturer has implemented white and silver colors of casing. More dramatic effect is ensured by the built-in white LED backlight.

Templarius Imperator is represented by five models of 550W/650W/750W/850W/1150W power. All tenderfoot power supply units correspond to 80Plus standard, though there are variations within the classes. Thus, the senior model of 1150W power features 80Plus Gold certificate due to its high efficiency level (more than 90%); 850W and 750W models are known to demonstrate up to 88% efficiency that allowed them to get 80Plus Silver certificate. Junior models 650W and 550W feature 80Plus Bronze standard, since their average efficiency level does not go higher …

Deepcool Aeolus Big Frost Presentation

Deepcool Industries, a renowned manufacturer of cooling systems, has officially announced the launch of its new dual-tower processor cooler Aeolus Big Frost. The prototype of this model has been already presented at Computex 2012 and is currently released as a ready-made product. This model is compatible with practically all CPU types available in the market from Intel and AMD manufacturers. In addition, it is able to support FM2/FM1 platform.

Deepcool Aeolus Big Frost is a simplified version of Assassin series. Despite this fact, the new cooler preserves the framework standards with dual-section radiators. Aeolus Big Frost has got copper base which is equipped with six U-shaped heat pipes (6 mm each pipe). Those pipes are pierced by a large number of aluminum plates.

The radiators are cooled down by 120 mm fans; the rotation speed of the first fan is able to achieve 1300 rpm, while the speed of the second fan fluctuates between 900 to 1500 rpm. The noise level also …
