Asus Launches Ultra-wide PC Monitor MX299Q

Asus announces the release of a new 29-inch ultra-wide PC monitor MX299Q that enters the ranges of Designo series. The model differentiates itself, in the first place, by an unusual height-to-width aspect ratio of 21:9 and an enhanced resolution of 2560x1080 pixels. According to the manufacturer, the monitor is able to propose much more than the above mentioned facilities only: i.e. 100% accurate color rendering and an improved sounding of onboard audio system. Therefore, MX299Q is the best choice for gamers, graphics designers and professionals who used to work with high-efficiency applications.

The heart of Asus MX299Q is AH-IPS panel with a power-saving LED backlit. This panel provides for wide viewing angles (178/178 degrees V/H), utmost brightness (maximal index makes up 300 cd/m2), quick response time (5 ms), and high dynamic contrast index of 80M:1. A set of video interfaces consists of Dual-Link DVI port, DisplayPort and HDMI port with the support of MHL interface for mobile devices. Moreover, due to unusual aspect ratio, the display is appropriate for watching wide-screen movies.
