Graphics card Colorful iGame GTX 660 Ti ARES X on sale soon

Chinese manufacturer of graphics cards Colorful, as the more well known in our region MSI, is preparing for the official announcement of Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 Ti card of alternative design iGame GTX 660 Ti ARES X. First of all, the eye catches a massive cooling system based on the Shark Bionic least five copper heat pipes and a pair of fan size ~ 80 mm.

According to the small heat release of GK104 chip in version with 1344 shaders, the efficiency of the cooler Shark Bionic is not doubtfull.

Card is equipped with (4+2)-phase power system and two connectors PCI-E Power 6-pin. In a similar version of Colorful GTX 670 there are six-channel power graphics core and two phases for the memory. Looking at the enclosed photo, is visible the presence of video outputs DVI (2), HDMI and DisplayPort connectors and a pair of SLI. What can not yet be explained, it is the presence of eight chips PCB Hynix GDDR5 — it is not combined with 192-bit bus.

Twelve pads for the RAM chips can theoretically take «on board» 4 GB of memory with three 64-bit controllers involved in the GTX 660 Ti.
