System on Module Sauris AM3517/05 Sales Start

The new systems are based on high-performance microprocessors TI Sitara AM3517 or AM3505 developed in the SODIMM-204 form-factor. GPS-receiver serves the needs of accurate location defining, while accelerometer and magnetometer are able to continue the navigation in case of satellite signal loss. Besides, accelerometer enables the realization of automatic image rotation on the display, and magnetometer functions as the electronic compass.
The basic peculiarity pertained to the above mentioned supplementary components is that their installation is optional. This means that they can be installed on a module as altogether so separately. All module blocks are supported by the core of the Linux OS.
