Goodram Enters the Market with CX100 SSD Line

Wilk Electronic SA has just released a new line of solid-state drives under Goodram brand name. Entitled CX100, the drives are available in four capacities: 120 GB, 240 GB, 480 GB and 960 GB. All of them feature 7 mm depth and support 2.5-inch form-factor. Besides, they employ SATA III interface with 6 Gb/sec bandwidth. As far as pricing is concerned, the junior model (120 GB) costs 55 EUR, the two medium models – 84 EUR and 162 EUR respectively, while the senior one (960 GB) – 348 EUR.



The nominal delivery kit contains a dedicated adapter to fit 9.5 mm slots. These SSDs are known to support TRIM & SMART options as well as Garbage Collection technology. The latter protects the drive from the failure of power supply, optimizing the boot time and ensuring overall operational stability.

Spire Debuts with Gaming PC Chassis X2.6019

Spire Corporation put itself on record with a new gaming PC chassis, codenamed X2.6019. The new-comer is developed in mid-tower form-factor, featuring 520x215x508 mm dimensions, and is made of 0.6 mm cold-rolled galvanized steel (SECC). Despite medium dimensions, it might easily accommodate motherboards of miniITX, microATX and ATX standard. According to Spire, this model belongs to MOD solutions, since it ensures an easy access to the hardware components during modification or update of the system.



Spire X2.6019 houses four external bays for 5.25-inch drives, six internal bays for 3.5-inch drives, as well as seven slots for PCI expansion cards. Its internal layout is divided by linear plates into three sections; such framework promotes for a better heat removal. It should be mentioned that this chassis is able to lodge nearly any CPU cooler and any high-end graphics card. Moreover, drive mounting can be realized without any dedicated tools.

Sports Cars Inspired Raidmax Gama Case for Gamers

The Raidmax company has announced the Gama Chassis, built for gaming desktop systems assembling.

 

While producing the novelty developers were inspired by racing cars, thus, it got an aggressive layout and is performed in four colour versions (entirely black, black and white, black and green, as well as black and orange). The side panel is made of tempered glass 4 mm thick. The dimensions of the case are 221 × 508 × 499 mm. The upper panel features audio Mini-Jacks and two USB 3.0 ports.

 

The framework is compatible with motherboards of ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX typical size. It is able to house seven expansion cards, two 3.5”/2.5” drives and at the same time two 2.5-inch data storage devices.
