D-Link Boasts a Customizable Switch DES-1100-26 of EasySmart Series

D-Link Corporation, a world-known designer and provider of high-end network solutions, has released its new child-switch DES-1100-26 which belongs to EasySmart series. All products of this series are called to ensure advanced performance and scalability characteristics. DES-1100-26 is oriented basically for small and middle business networks and offers efficient corporate solutions for a moderate price. This switch supports the most asked-for options of L2 level necessary for foolproof employment. Moreover, it gives the possibility of setup and control via the user-friendly Web-interface.

In contrast to the previous models from D-Link, DES-1100-26 has got the gigabit ports for the connection with the servers or network backbone. The switch supports the static channel aggregation, bandwidth control, and other options like IGMP Snooping, 802.1p QoS, 802.1Q VLAN, Loopback Detection, etc. Static MAC option allows administering the network connection with devices by means of static records creation in the switch table and deactivating of MAC-address auto-study on corresponding switch ports.

Switch control is realized via Web-interface or SmartConsole applet. This applet enables the simultaneous setup of several D-Link EasySmart switches which are in the same local network.
DES-1100-26 casing is intended for the installation into 19-inch rack; the casing is equipped with a couple of combo-ports 10/100/1000BASE-T/SFP and twenty-four 10/100Base-TX ports. The noiseless operation of the switch is achieved due to the implementation of a passive cooling system.
