Greeting a New Powerful CPU Cooler ‘Lucifer’ from Deepcool

Deepcool Industries, an established developer of high-efficient cooling solutions, introduces its new CPU cooler with a horrendous name Lucifer. This cooler features 140x110x168 mm tower-like framework that is ready to manage the heat produced by any up-to-date desktop processor platforms from Intel (LGA2011, 1366, 1156, 1155, 775) and AMD (Socket FM1, FM2, AM3, AM3+, AM2, AM2+).

Deepcool Lucifer embraces a voluminous heatsink section that contains thirty-six nickel-plated aluminum ribs, six U-shaped, nickel-plated copper heat pipes, and a single 140 mm fan. The latter employs a hydrodynamic bearing and is governed by PWM technology. Fan speed might vary from 700 RPM to 1400 RPM; the maximal airflow produced by the fan approximates 81.33 CFM, while the maximal noise level does not exceed the margin of 31 dB.

It should be mentioned that this cooler is able to remove up to 130 W heat in passive mode (without a fan). The availability of a thermal compound in the nominal delivery kit promotes for the enhancement of cooling efficiency. Some other specifications of Deepcool Lucifer are listed below:

— heatsink: dimensions without/with fan – 140x110x163 mm/140x110x168 mm, copper base, six copper heat pipes;
— fan: dimensions – 140x26 mm, weight – 143 g, input power – 2.04 W, noise – 17.8-31 dB, voltage – 12 VDC (rated)/10.8-13VDC (operating)/7VDC (starting).
