Meeting New Chassis Sugo SG10 from SilverStone

SilverStone Technology, a celebrated Taiwanese PC hardware manufacturer, is going to release at the end of the current month its new mini-tower chassis codenamed SG10 that joined the SilverStone Sugo series. Featuring 354x295x220 mm dimensions, the novice is housed in a case made of stainless steel (totally black exterior and interior) with an aluminum frontal facet. The latter comprises a ventilation slot, covered by an anti-dust grid.

First of all, it should be noted that Sugo SG10 is predestined specifically for the assembling of small-sized but rather high-performance PC systems. The chassis is compatible with motherboards of mini-ITX/micro-ATX standard and is ready to welcome graphics adapters of up to 338 mm (length), PSUs of 180 mm (length), as well as CPU coolers of up to 165 mm (height). One of its key peculiarities is the localization of the power supply unit at the frontal part of the case, if compared with the majority of contemporary solutions with PSU bays at the rear section.

Internal inventory offers a single 5.25-inch drive bay, four 2.5-inch bays and two 3.5-inch bays with slots for the integration of SSD/HDD drives. The frontal facet accommodates I/O panel with standard 3.5 mm audio slots and a pair of high-speed USB 3.0 ports.

Irrespective of the dimensions, PC chassis SG10 features quite efficient cooling facilities. Thereby, this model is delivered with a triple of pre-installed fans: 120 mm rear, 120 mm side and 180 mm top fan. The first two fans have got 1200 RPM rotational speed with the noise level achieving 22 dB. The third one belongs to Air Penetrator series and boasts a specially-elaborated blade shape; its rotational speed equals to 700/1200 RPM with the noise level of 18/34 dB.

Additionally, the user is able to incorporate two supplementary 80 mm or 92 mm fans at a detachable module to enhance the cooling of graphics adapters, and one more 80 mm fan at the right-side facet.
