Trojan.Encoder.94 Transgresses All Permitted Limits

The past few weeks have become a real calamity for the users of personal computers and other devices all over Europe. This calamity is triggered by the massive attacks of new encoder program Trojan.Encoder.94. Last week the encoder reached the borders of several countries in Latin America which could not but harass all customer community. So far the companies, which make business on developing antivirus systems, cannot find the ways of preventing the penetration of encoder, despite multiple notifications and urgent security measures from the customers’ part.

The operation chart of Trojan.Encoder.94 is targeted mainly on user files. Once the program gets into the system, it immediately encodes all data in PC or other device. Text, graphic, audio and video files fall under encoding, and when the user tries to open the needed file, the program displays the notification which contains information about the possible methods of error removal. All of those methods dwindle down to a …

The Extraordinary XPG Spectrix D40 DDR4 RGB Mem from ADATA Is Designed for Intel LGA2066 and AMD AM4 Desktop Platforms

Not long ago the ADATA vendor announced the gaming XPG Gammix D10 DDR4 mem series, including devices with the 2,400, 3,800 and 3,000 MHz effective frequency, CL16 and CL17 latency timings, 1.2 and 1.35 V voltage patterns, and black and red heatsinks. ADATA XPG Spectrix D40 DDR4 RGB specialties, constructed specifically for Intel LGA2066 and AMD AM4 desktop platforms, possess the striking design as well as strong performance qualities.

The production of these novelties presupposes the use of 10-layer PCB boards and high-end DDR4 memory chips. All XPG Spectrix D40 DDR4 RGB modules have black and red radiators with the XPG logo and multi-coloured inbuilt backlighting, which can be synchronized with the mother card, GPU and cooler due to the ASUS Aura Sync technology support. The dimensions of the devices are the following: 138.9 × 7.6 × 47.3 mm.

The Spectrix D40 products list contains four different 8 GB modules and the same number of two- and four-channel memory sets (16 GB …

The Kingston A1000 SSDs Are Compatible with Almost Any Computing System, Possessing the M.2 Key M Interface

During the CES 2018 event Kingston demonstrated the Kingston A1000 SSDs of the 22 × 80 mm size. The devices may seem rather massive at first sight, however, they may be installed into most systems with the M.2 Key M interface.

A1000 is not expected to be very cheap, though it will be affordable for a major part of customers. Kingston developers tried to save on A1000 components for their products to be sold well. The novelties feature the PCI Express 3.0 x2 interface, the 3D TLC NAND flash memory and a controller unnamed. Besides, the NVMe 1.3 support is declared.

According to the Iometer app testing, IOPS equals 190 286 (read) and 202 151 (write). The A1000 Sequential read/write speeds overcome analogous SATA SSD rates: the top 960 GB drive has the 1,623 MBps read speed and the 1,040 MBps write speed. The best SSDs, equipped with the SATA 6 Gbps interface, show lower velocities, not coming up to 600 MBps.

The Kingston …
