Sapphire Announces the Release of New HD 7950 FleX Edition

The market of graphics cards is constantly replenished by new products from established and developing companies. The Sapphire Technology company has made a considerable step in this field and introduced a new graphics card HD 7950 FleX Edition based on Graphics Core Next architecture. This model is distinguished by the capability to connect three monitors with DVI interface simultaneously without the need to use dedicated adaptors. Such welcome option became possible due to the integrated Eyefinity and FleX technologies.

The graphics card enables the connection of 2 monitors with the available DVI ports, and the third monitor – with the HDMI port by means of a special adaptor (that is included in the nominal delivery set). Moreover, HD 7950 FleX Edition is equipped with a couple of Mini DisplayPort video outputs in order to attach additional monitors. Hence, this graphics card will be an optimal solution for gamers who would like to create various configurations.

To continue, HD 7950 FleX Edition is based on a blue circuit board for PCI Express 3.0x16 wire. It supports grogram interface DirectX 11.1 and CrossFire mode. GPU and memory clock frequency equals to 860 MHz and 1250 MHz correspondingly. This model can boast 3072 MB of GDDR5 memory with 384 bit interface.

Heat removal is accomplished by means of Dual-X cooler which is differentiated by the original framework. The cooler is covered by the plastic casing and consists of a solid aluminum radiator, copper heat tubes, and a couple of noiseless fans.
HD 7950 FleX Edition developers are assured that their new product will become a hit among the targeted customer groups. The major privilege of this graphics card is seen in the feasibility to build a budgetary Eyefinity system which would embrace three DVI monitors without the necessity to buy expensive active adaptors or monitors with DisplayPort interface.
