Cooler Master Gets Ready to Roll Out a Powerful V8 GTS Cooling System

Cooler Master is going to release V8 GTS CPU cooling system – the newest addition to V-series products. The model has got a spectacular design with a large heatsink block, two high-performance fans, and black plastic coverage. The overall cooler’s dimensions make up 154x149.8x166.5 mm. V8 GTS is differentiated also by a high compatibility with a range of CPU sockets, naming AMD AM2/AM2+, AM3/AM3+, FM2/FM1 and Intel LGA2011/1366/1156/1155/1150/775.

Unlike other air-coolers, an elaboration from Cooler Master can boast the availability of a vapor chamber in the framework. This chamber is known to spread heat much faster than heatpipes do and protects the CPU from overheating on heightened loading. Moreover, the presence of this vapor chamber guarantees that the heat is evenly distributed between all incorporated heat pipes.

Except the above mentioned components, V8 GTS framework consists of three independent heatsink blocks, eight copper heat pipes, and a pair of 140 mm fans. The fans are based on acetal POM bearing of the fourth generation and are thought to support PWM technology. Their rotational speed range varies from the minimal 600 RPM to the maximal 1600 RPM. Each fan is ready to demonstrate up to 160.000 hours of foolproof operation.

With the purpose to beautify the product, the company equipped this cooling system with red LED backlights. The combination of all integrated facilities results in a revolutionary cooling, ready to cope with the CPUs that consume up to 250 W power. Some other specifications of V8 GTS are revealed below:

— heatsink: dimensions – 154x140x153.5 mm, framework – aluminum fins, vapor chamber and heat pipes;
— fans: dimensions – 140x20 mm, bearing – POM acetal, speed – 600-1600 RPM, produced airflow – 28-82 CFM, maximal noise level – 36 dB;
— rated voltage: 12VDC;
— power: 4-pin connector, maximal power consumption index – 3.72W;
— availability: August 2013, pricing might vary across regions.
