Zotac Replenishes Zbox Mini-PC Series with Haswell-Based Models

Zotac is glad to announce the release of three new mini-PC models that entered Zbox series. Entitled IQ01, ID91 and ID92, these PCs are equipped with Intel Core (Haswell generation) CPUs and are compatible with Windows 7/8 platforms. All three models support DirectX 11 technology with Shader Model 5.0 features; additionally, they support HDCP interface, Blu-ray 3D technology, video decoding options, and the creation of multi-screen configurations.

Zotac Zbox IQ01 features such specifications:

— CPU: Intel Core i7-4770T that runs at 2.5 GHz (3.7 GHz in Turbo mode);

— graphics: onboard Intel HD Graphics 4600;

— I/O: 1x DVI-I, 2x DisplayPort, 4x USB 3.0, 1x mSATA 6 Gb/sec;

— support for Intel Turbo Boost 2.0.

Zotac Zbox ID91 boasts the following peculiarities:

ASRock FM2A88M-HD+ to Support the Latest AMD Kaveri APUs

ASRock has recently announced a new series of motherboards that are based on the prime-class AMD A88X chipset, targeting Socket FM2(+) CPUs of Trinity and Richland generation. Moreover, they are supposed to support the new-gen AMD Kaveri APUs with Steamroller microarchitecture. One of the most outstanding models within the series is FM2A88M-HD+ motherboard, which features a large amount of slots and sockets. At the same time, it remains a cost-efficient solution.

ASRock FM2A88M-HD+ is designed in a micro-ATX form-factor, featuring 234x183 mm dimensions. The company claims that this model is able to accommodate DDR3 RAM with 2133 MHz frequency, housed in two DIMM slots. Therein, the maximal memory capacity might achieve 32 GB. Hardware base consists of prime-quality solid-state capacitors and durable chokes.
