New RAM Modules Ballistix Sport SODIMM from Lexar Media



Lexar Media, a well-known American designer of diverse digital media products, starts selling its new RAM series from Ballistix line. Entitled Sport SODIMM, the series is introduced by four SODIMM-DDR3 modules, intended for the incorporation into gaming laptops: BLS4G3N169ES4, BLS8G3N169ES4, BLS4G3N18AES4, and BLS8G3N18AES4. The quadruple is distinguished by an original design with the implementation of unique heatspreaders. All of them are optimized for Intel Core i5/i7 mobile processors of the fourth generation (Intel Haswell platform) and support all up-dated XMP profiles.


The most beneficial feature applied to Ballistix Sport SODIMM modules is their power-saving nature. They are able to operate at 10% lower power voltage than analogous products; hence, they reduce the laptop’s power consumption index and increase the time of its offline work.

Greeting Deepcool Wave Mini-Tower Case

Deepcool Industries Co. Ltd., a renowned Chinese developer of PC cooling solutions, is about to launch another top-notch chassis, codenamed Wave. This mini-tower model, featuring 387x175x353.5 mm dimensions, is supposed to accommodate micro-ATX systems. Despite a sleek design and enhanced functionality, entry-level customers will be able to acquire the new-comer for some $30-40.



Deepcool Wave is housed in a steel chassis (0.5 mm SECC) with plastic details. Its internal layout is predestined for two 5.25-inch drives, a triple of 3.5-inch drives and the same number of 2.5-inch drives. Expansion facilities are ensured by means of four PCI slots. There is enough space for the installation of 145-mm-high CPU cooler, 320-mm-long graphics cards, and ATX-compatible power supply unit.

Chinese manufacturer of graphics cards Colorful, as the more well known in our region MSI, is preparing for the official announcement of Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 Ti card of alternative design iGame GTX 660 Ti ARES X. First of all, the eye catches a massive cooling system based on the Shark Bionic least five copper heat pipes and a pair of fan size ~ 80 mm.



According to the small heat release of GK104 chip in version with 1344 shaders, the efficiency of the cooler Shark Bionic is not doubtfull.
