Meet a New Masterpiece from Cooler Master: Storm Stryker Casing

Cooler Master developers have recently voiced good news for their most exacting customers: the sales start of casing CM Storm Stryker is round the corner. The new model takes the design of its predecessor CM Storm Trooper but has several striking peculiarities which make the product a real design masterpiece. CM Storm Stryker is developed in a Full-Tower form factor and is distinguished by the prevalence of white color combined with black inclusions. The framework is made of solid steel that serves the protective shield for the casing ‘filling’. In addition, the casing is equipped with a handle which makes the casing transportation rather hassle-free.

The availability of an acrylic window in the left faceplate and the cooling cages for hard drives are considered to be the major peculiarities of CM Storm Stryker. What is more, this casing is destined for the integration of more fans for the efficient cooling activity. There are a couple of fans on the clipboard, two more fans facing HDD, one fan on the back panel, and one fan on the top chassis. The casing is able to support graphics cards of up to 322 mm in length.

CM Storm Stryker is compatible with Micro-ATX, XL-ATX and ATX standards applied for motherboards which make the casing universal. It is furnished with nine 5.25 inch bays, ten expansion slots, two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 sockets, and a couple of audio slots. Module baskets Combo Cages enable the installation of up to eight 3.5 inch drives or twelve 2.5 inch drives. Moreover, the casing has got nine stubs destined for expansion cards PCI/PCI Express.

To continue, the cooling of hard drives is realized by means of a dedicated wire window which is located near the large acrylic one. The installation of all internal components won’t be a difficulty at all thanks to the well-considered framework. For instance, the casing is equipped with special inlets for the power cables, and has a notch in the motherboard tray which ensures the unimpeded access to the back plate and PCB, etc.
