Chieftec, a well-known German designer of prime-class hardware pieces, advertises the launch of a new budgetary mini-tower PC chassis, entitled Flyer Series FS-01B-U3. The model features 420x175x360 mm dimensions and is ready to welcome mATX and mini-ITX motherboards. The case boasts a totally black exterior with a glossy frontal panel and metallic patches on it.
This chassis comes with a pre-installed iArena power supply unit of 350/450 W capacity. It is based on CWT platform. The inventory also includes a pair of 5.25-inch optical drive bays, four 3.5/2.5-inch HDD/SSD bays. The case accommodates four PCI expansion slots that support the installation of rather lengthy graphics cards (up to 320 mm). Internal layout allows for the employment of standard CPU coolers of up to 130 mm in height.
