Design


Graphics card GeForce GTX 680 Super Overclock features 295x120x64 mm dimensions and rather unusual design. Instead of common fans on the frontal board Gigabyte covered PCB and elements of cooling system by a metallic cover with decorative holes; the rear board is also covered by a metallic plate. The top board is only partially covered by the lid that hides a line of five fans, while the bottom board unveils a voluminous heatsink with heatpipes. AOC PDS271 Porsche Design Monitor - Is the Cooperation with the Famous Brand Justified?

  Introduction

The manufacturer of LCD displays AOC, as a rule, prefers simple, but rather elegant design of their monitors. The company is interested in attracting customers, for whom the appearance of image output devices is as important as the quality of the picture. Aiming to turn the attraction to the new products, AOC has arranged the cooperation with the design studio F. A. Porsche. Today we will get acquainted with the result of the of AOC and Studio F. A. Kingmax Enlarges the SME Xvalue Lineup with Two New SSD Series

Kingmax, a renowned manufacturer of various data storage and memory solutions, has replenished its SME Xvalue lineup of solid-state drives with a pair of new series. Codenamed SME 32 Xvalue and SME 35 XValue, both series count three models of 60 GB, 120 GB, and 240 GB capacities. It should be noted that the first lineup is predestined to be installed into laptops and small-sized devices, whereas the second one – into desktop PCs.



SME Xvalue SSDs are designed in 2.5-inch form-factor and feature 100.5x69.85x7 mm dimensions. All of them employ SATA 6 Gb/sec interface and are based on MLC NAND flash memory. The drives can operate under 5V voltage within the temperature ranges of 0-+70 degrees. The manufacturer claims that their fail-proof operation time might achieve an unbelievable index — 1.200.000 hours.
