Lian Li Announces PC-B16 and PC-A61 Aluminum PC Cases

Lian Li Industrial Co., an outstanding Taiwanese hardware developer, offers to the UK enthusiasts a pair of fresh PC cases, codenamed PC-B16 and PC-A61. Both are housed in aluminum cases, ready to accommodate ATX, micro-ATX and mini-ITX motherboards. The products are already available at the price of 144 £ and 119 £ correspondingly.



Lian Li PC-B16 features 230x490x530 mm dimensions and comes in entirely black, as well as bare aluminum versions. The frontal panel is equipped with a dedicated lid that hides a ventilation grid and access to four external ODD drives (5.25-inch). Internal layout provides seven PCI slots for expansion cards, seven detachable bays with individual brackets for 3.5-inch drives. Besides, each of these bays might hold two 2.5-inch drives of 9.5 mm depth.

PowerColor Develops Radeon HD 7850 with Passive Cooling System

PowerColor decided to rouse the curiosity of those customers who would like to enhance their gaming experience by total silence. In contrast to the majority of contemporary gaming graphics adapters which employ powerful, and not infrequently, noisy air-coolers, the new solution from PowerColor, model Radeon HD 7850 SCS3, employs noiseless passive cooling system. Unfortunately, the company does not unveil any data concerning an official presentation, release date or approximate price of the product. PowerColor Radeon HD 7850 SCS3 will be furnished with a two-slot cooler consisting of several heatsink blocks with a large dissipation area. Non-reference GTX 760 Graphics Adapter with S.A.C. Cooling from Elsa

Elsa, a well-known Japanese manufacturer of graphics solutions for PC systems, is going to release its own non-reference model of Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 adapter. Codenamed Elsa GeForce GTX 760 S.A.C., the card is based on an original PCB with PCI-e 3.0 x16 interface. The heart of the model is GK104-225 chip (an estimated performance equals to 2.3 GFLOPS), designed under 28 nm Kepler microarchitecture. It features 1152 CUDA cores, 32 ROPs, 96 TMUs, and runs at the nominal 980 MHz frequency (1033 MHz on overclocking).



Graphics card GTX 760 S.A.C. carries 2GB memory of GDDR5 type that is equipped with 256-bit bus and operates at 6008 MHz clock frequency (effective index). Power supply process is realized via two 6-pin sockets. It should be noted that this model is known to consume not more than 170 W power. The reverse side of PCB contains video interface panel with four outputs: DisplayPort, HDMI, Dual Link DVI-D, Dual Link DVI-I.
