Biostar Outs a Triple of Racing Motherboards

Biostar has begun the 2016 year’s history with the launch of a new series of motherboards, entitled Racing. Currently, the lineup includes three ATX models — Z170GT7, H170GT3 & B150GT5 — based on Intel Z170, H170 and B150 chipsets respectively. The triple is compatible with Intel Skylake processors for Socket LGA1151.

Lian Li Launches the PC-8F Mid-Tower Case Shipments at the Reasonable €130 Price

PC-8F is a new Lian Li PC framework, performed in the Mid-Tower form factor. Like many other Lian Li cases, the novelty is almost entirely made of aluminum, however it stands out against parallel solutions due to its reasonable price.



PC-8F is 500 mm long, 210 mm wide and 476 mm high, and weighs 4.5 kg. It can house an ATX, microATX or Mini-ITX mother board, seven PCI-E expansion cards, an ATX-compatible power supply, a couple of 3.5-inch and three 2.5-inch HDD drives. Graphics adapters should not be longer than 410 mm, and the maximum CPU cooling system allowed is 170 mm.


The front part of the chassis offers enough room for the 360/280 mm liquid cooling system heatsink with fans of the corresponding standard size. Należy zauważyć, że wszystkie karty ze złączem PCMCIA dzielą się na trzy rodzaje. Do pierwszego typu należą urządzenia o grubości 3.3 mm i 16-bitowym interfejsem; drugi typ obejmuje karty o grubości 5 mm z 16-/32-bitowym interfejsem, a trzeci typ karty o grubości 10.5 mm z podobnymi opcjami interfejsu. Aby nawiązać komunikację między SYSTEMEM operacyjnym laptopa i podłączanym składnikiem wykorzystują specjalne oprogramowanie – sterowniki do PCMCIA urządzeń.
