Xigmatek to Release Dark Knight II CPU Cooler

Xigmatek, a multi-profile Taiwanese company, is about to launch its second version of Dark Knight CPU cooler – the SD1483. Featuring 120x50x159 mm dimensions, this tower-like device comes in two color variations: black and white (Frostbourne). The model supports processors with the utmost TDP level of 160 W, designated for AMD AM2/AM3/K8 & Intel LGA 775/1155/1156/2011 platforms.

Xigmatek Dark Knight II SD1483 consists of a small-sized heatsink with fifty-five aluminum thin fins; the latter boasts ceramic coating that is called to enhance heat dissipation area. The heatsink is pierced by three 8 mm heatpipes which support direct contact technology.

The framework also accommodates a single 140 mm fan, based on slide bearing. It is estimated for 150.000 hours of foolproof operation. The integration of PWM technology enables the variation of rotational speed from 800 RPM to 1200 RPM. The blades produce up to 90.3 CFM airflow at the maximum 18 dB noise level. According to the …

MSI Showcases R9 280X Gaming 3G LE Graphics Card with Under-Frequency

MSI Gaming lineup of graphics cards is currently rich in numerous models targeting gamers with any taste and budget. Nonetheless, the company never stops pleasing its fans, so the appearance of a new R9 280X Gaming 3G LE (Light Edition) card is quite viable. The new-comer is much alike its predecessor — R9 280X Gaming 3G, released last autumn, — but features reduced frequencies. The other specifications are almost identical.

MSI R9 280X Gaming 3G LE is based on AMD Radeon R9 280X GPU. Its modified frequency chart looks the following way: nominal clock frequency in Silent/Gaming/OC mode makes up 860 MHz, whereas dynamic clock frequency differs, depending on the mode. Hence, in Silent mode it equals to 1000 MHz, in Gaming mode – to 1010 MHz, and in OC mode – to 1020 MHz. Just to compare, the predecessor boasts some 1000 MHz nominal and 1050 MHz dynamic index.

The layout of the graphics card involves 3 GB of GDDR5 memory (384-bit bus) that runs at 6 GHz, Military …

The Manli GeForce GTX 1080 Ti with Blower Fan Card Is Coming Soon

Manli Technology has released an accelerator with a long name – Manli GeForce GTX 1080 Ti with Blower Fan. The M-NGTX1080TI/5RIHPPP specialty is based on the Nvidia PCB with a 7+2 phase power supply.

The cooler fundamental part and radiator fins are manufactured out of aluminium. The heatsink is divided into two sections (for a GPU and a power system); a blower fan is in between. The cooling element cover design resembles ocean waves. In the whole, the cooling system occupies two expansion slots, regarding the 282 х 126 х 42 mm dimensions of the card.

The device features 1,480–1,582 MHz frequency rate for a core and 11,010 MHz for the GDDR5X memory chip (the bus width is 352 bits). An HDMI and three DisplayPort ports serve for the image output. 6- and 8-pin PCI-E Power connectors ensure auxiliary power.

The Manli GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics card will be on sale soon at the $700 tentative price.
