Fujitsu Intros a New Line of Ergonomic Monitors

Fujitsu introduces a new line of monitors that dramatically improve desktop PC ergonomics. The line is represented by three models: universal B Line, stylish X Line, and professional P Line. If compared with the previous generation of monitors designed by Fujitsu, these monitors are characterized by a faster startup activity, brighter display, heightened resolution, and more power-efficient operation. The latter is of crucial importance, since a new series consumes 60% less power than older models.

All three models are targeted primarily at corporate clients who spend the whole day at their PCs. According to the developers' words, monitors with 22-27 inch displays are the most suitable options for a prolonged work, since their ergonomic facilities (eye-care friendly, functional stand that allows changing the height and pitch of the display) ensure comfortable work during long hours on end.

HP Unveils Ergonomic DreamColor Z32x Monitor

HP comes out to the market with a new 31.5-inch monitor Z32x as a part of DreamColor series. The new-comer features 737x613.8x245.5 mm dimensions and is based on IPS panel. It is differentiated by extended options on profile settings and the availability of an ergonomic stand. HP promises to launch the display in June 2015.

HP DreamColor Z32x supports Ultra-HD 4K resolution (3840x2160) and offers the following specifications: 1000:1 static contrast index, 500.000:1 dynamic contrast index, 300 cd/m2 utmost brightness, 8 ms GtG response time, 178/178 degrees utmost viewing angles, 1.07 billion of displayed colors. Within the bounds of AMD Fusion Developer Summit, Advanced Micro Devices has presented its new graphics card AMD FirePro W9000. The new graphic solution is based on a couple of 28-nm Tahiti chips and is actually a prototype of Radeon HD 7900 adapter. FirePro W9000 is chiefly targeted at professionals used to work with 3D technologies and video editing applications.

AMD FirePro W9000 is based on a red circuit board developed to work with PCI Express 3.0x16 bus. The cooling system is represented by a solid cooler of active type, a high-end radiator, three 90 mm. noiseless fans and copper heat tubes.
