Zotac Announces Magnus 10 Mini-PC with Pascal GPU

Zotac International is proud to announce a new lineup of mini-PCs, equipped with Nvidia Pascal GPUs. The Magnus 10 lineup so far consists of two series: the Magnus EN1060 & the Magnus EN1070. Consequently, the first item is equipped with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 videocard, while the second one – with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 adapter. Despite this fact, all models feature identical case dimensions: 210x203x62.2 mm.

Each series includes three models. Zotac Magnus EN1060/1070 are barebone systems, void of RAM, storage subsystem & OS. Zotac Magnus EN1060/1070 Plus PCs boast the availability of 8 GB RAM (DDR4), 1 TB HDD, 120 GB M.2 SSD. The third version, Zotac Magnus EN1060/1070 Windows 10 models add support for Windows 10 Home OS.

Thermaltake Readies Armor A30i and A30i Speedy Edition PC Cases

Thermaltake gets ready for the release of two new PC cases, codenamed Armor A30i and Armor A30i Speedy Edition. Both models feature 266x291x456 mm dimensions and boast an original modular framework, known as Bulletproof Armor Design. The cases are housed in a stylish enclosure with a small transparent window on the side panel, ventilation grids on the frontal and top facets. Their prime target is gamers, as well as enthusiasts and LAN Party devotees, who prefer small-sized PC systems.

Thermaltake A30i and its modified version are known to support motherboards of mini-ITX and micro-ATX standard, graphics cards of up to 350 mm in length, and CPU cooler of up to 90 mm in height. Internal layout is ready to offer four expansion slots, a couple of 5.25-inch drive bays (external), one 3.5-inch drive bay (external), a pair of internal 2.5-inch bays and analogous number of internal 3.5-inch bays. Next year TSMC will start manufacturing the first 20nm chips

The Taiwanese company TSMC confirmed its intention to start production of chips using 20 nm technological processes in 2013. However, for now the company does not plan its production on an industrial scale and will release the first chips in a limited quantities, giving them a total of 1% of production capacity. According to the head of the company, the mass production of semiconductor chips with this technology will not begin until 2014.

Meanwhile TSMC Company is going to produce only one version of the chip, which will be able to enter into the wide range of devices, from smart phones with low-power to high-performance graphics cards. For comparison, the Taiwanese company currently has four different output chips on 28-nm technology. These are 28LP (poly / SiON) for low-power low-cost chips, 28HPL (HKMG) for use in low power applications, 28HP (HKMG) for high-performance chips and 28HPM (HKMG).
