Deepcool Announces a Pair of Maelstrom Liquid Coolers

Deepcool has extended Maelstrom lineup of liquid coolers with two new models – the 120T and the 240T. The key distinction between the pair is the amount of 120 mm fans employed (one or two). Both come equipped with red LED backlights and show compatibility with the majority of update Intel & AMD platforms. The maximal supported CPU TDP level makes up 140/150 W.

Deepcool Maelstrom 120T comes with a single fan, whereas its companion, 240T, features a couple of fans, based on fluid bearing with 50.000 hours MTBF. The units run at 1800 RPM, creating up to 83.64/167.28 CFM and 17-34 dB of noise (depending on the model).

Both coolers employ a ceramic pump (70x85.6x31.5 mm), estimated for 120.000 hours of fail-proof operation & running at 2400 RPM. The pump features a copper base with micro-channels, connected with solid rubber hoses and an aluminum heatsink. The new-comers are linked to the system by means of 4-pin connectors.
