Biostar Unveils A68N-2100 Motherboard for Budget-Oriented Customers

Biostar Microtech has gladdened its budget-oriented customers by the release of a new small-sized motherboard, entitled A68N-2100. This mini-ITX model is elaborated on a two-core hybrid AMD E1-2100 APU (Jaguar core, Kabini platform) with 1 GHz clock frequency. It is accompanied by an integrated Radeon HD 8210 graphics that supports DirectX 11.1 technology. All devotees of Biostar’s innovations might acquire the item for about $50.

Biostar A68N-2100 is developed on AMD A68 chipset that supports APU passive cooling by means of a compact heatspreader. The implemented APU is characterized by low power consumption: in ordinary work conditions it consumes not more than 9 W power. Kingston Showcases New Enterprise-Class SSDNow E50

Kingston, an outstanding developer of various data storage solutions, has recently introduced a new series of solid-state drives intended for enterprise use. Entitled SSDNow E50, the products feature a standard 2.5-inch design and are available in three capacities: 100 GB, 240 GB and 480 GB correspondingly. The new-comer employs SATA III 6 Gb/sec interface and MLC NAND synchronous flash-memory.

Kingston SSDNow E50 takes LSI SandForce-SF2581 controller as the basis. It ensures rather high performance showings. Meeting New Gaming Memory Kits AMD Radeon RG2133

A couple of days ago AMD introduced a new series of DDR3 memory kits within the boundaries of AMD Unified Gaming Strategy development. Codenamed AMD Radeon RG2133, the new-comers are available in two- and four-channel kits, the overall capacity of which equals to 16 GB and 32 GB correspondingly. The most striking feature is that they can be employed as on AMD, so on Intel platforms, supporting AMD AMP and Intel XMP technologies for improved settings optimization.
