New Riing Silent 12 Pro Cooler from Thermaltake Was Spotted

Thermaltake hit the market with an exceptional CPU cooler, entitled Riing Silent 12 Pro. The model is available in two color palettes: blue & red. There the differentiation dropped. Thermaltake Riing Silent 12 Pro coolers are able to cool down CPUs with the maximal TDP of 170 W. Their framework consists of 6 nickel-plated copper heatpipes, a voluminous heatsink with aluminum fins as well as a single 120-mm fan. Deepcool Introduces a Universal IceEdge 400 E CPU Cooler

Deepcool Industries, a well-known Chinese designer of multifarious cooling solutions, is going to launch its newest universal CPU cooler, entitled IceEdge 400 E (Elite Edition). The new-comer has got a tower-type design and features 100x86x125.5 mm dimensions.


This model is predestined to be incorporated into all contemporary platforms, including Intel’s LGA775/1150/1155/1156 and AMD’s 754/939/940/FM1/FM2/AM2(+)/AM3(+). Moreover, it is able to cool down rather hot processors, which TDP level reaches 130 W.


Deepcool IceEdge 400 E consists of a heatsink block, featuring thin aluminum plates, four copper heatpipes that support direct contact technology, and a single 92 mm fan. The latter is based on a fluid bearing and develops speed up to 2200 RPM. The maximal noise level it is producing approximates 26 dB. The fan is fixed due to wire spikes.

EK to Start Selling FC7970 Matrix Waterblock in Early March

EK Water Blocks is about to put on sale its VGA waterblock, designed specifically for Asus ROG Matrix HD 7970 graphics card. Codenamed EK-FC7970 Matrix, the product will become available in retail sale already on 8 March and will cost approximately €110. Such price is justified by the utmost heat management facilities that ensure 100% percent reliability.



EK-FC7970 Matrix belongs to the echelon of waterblocks with full coverage. Its base is made of nickel-plated copper, its rear backplate – of anodized aluminum, and its lid – of acetal. The model shows compatibility with all standard fittings of G1/4 dimensional type.


It should be mentioned that EK Water Blocks furnished its new creation with all necessary fastenings, a backplate, and a mounting plate; the latter takes only two slots, unlike a nominal Asus ROG Matrix HD 7970 plate which takes three slots. Such switch of plates will be useful on simultaneous installation of several expansion cards.
