The ASRock Manufacturer Is Ready to Deliver Motherboards Built On Flagship AMD and Intel Platforms

Examining the ASRock website one can detect the evidence of the fact, that the vendor is going to release motherboards based on flagship AMD and Intel platforms.

Let’s have a look at near specialties. Thus, ASRock, built on the X299 chipset, provides four mother cards, specifically X299 Fatal1ty Professional Gaming i9, X299 Fatal1ty Professional Gaming i7, X299 Gaming K6 and X299 Taichi. As we see, Intel really plans to use for the most high-end processors the «i9» brand name. Please note, that all aforementioned motherboards are included into the «Fatal1ty» line.

AMD platforms devotees can enjoy the only product, constructed on the X399 chipset – Fatal1ty X399 Professional Gaming. In fact, this solution is the first formal approval of AMD X399 existence, which has previously been a matter of gossips only. ID-Cooling Hunter Duet II Liquid Cooling System

ID-Cooling, being famous for its cooling systems, has released a Hunter Duet II cooler of large dimensions, which is supposed to transfer heat from the CPU and the graphics engine surfaces. This model is designed with a 360 mm heat sink, which is of great benefit to its efficiency factor.

The construction includes two water units with a base out of copper and built-in pumps, pipes in braided cable, the three-section aluminum 395 × 120 × 27 mm heat sink, three 120 mm fans, and an extraordinary framework with a 90 mm fan to blow over graphics card load-bearing elements and intensive plates for the CPU and GPU.

Though possessing similar construction, water units differ in lids design and the location of holes for liquid flow. At the moment their inner structure details are not available.

A compact fan to blow over VRM consumes 1.2 W. Its rotary speed is not higher than 1,500 rpm. The same ratio of each of the three main fans is not supposed to exceed 1,500–2,000 rpm.

Corsair Outs ML Series of Fans

Corsair officially launches a new lineup of air fans, entitled ML. The greenhorns are introduced in two form-factors – 120 mm & 140 mm – as well as in three types: ML, ML Pro, ML Pro LED. The first version includes a pair of fans in the kit, the second one supports anti-vibration rubber pads in corners, whereas the third series comes equipped with LED backlight (white, blue or red). Consequently, the price range varies from $24.99 to $39.99.

The key advantage of Corsair ML fans is the incorporation of Magnetic Levitation Bearing. Thanks to magnetic levitation, the fins do not touch the motor, thus eliminating any frictions. This serves for the reduction of noise level and the enhancement of performance.

All 120-mm models rotate at 400-2400 RPM speed; they are supposed to be ideal companions to CPU coolers. At the same time, all 140-mm fans rotate at 400-2000 RPM; they are thought to act perfectly as system fans. On top rotational index the fans produce up to 75-97 CFM …
