Gigabyte Showcases New GB-BSi7 Mini-PCs

Gigabyte keeps on refilling its inventory of Intel Skylake-based solutions with a couple of new mini-PCs: Brix GB-BSi7T-6500 & Brix GB-BSi7HT-6500. The greenhorns are designed on a two-core Intel Core i7-6500U CPU that operates at 2.5/3.1 GHz frequency. The processor is accompanied by Intel HD graphics as well as DDR4-2133 MHz RAM (maximum capacity – 32 GB).



The fundamental difference between the two models lies in the storage layout. The GB-BSi7T-6500 features only M.2 slot for the installation of compatible drives, whereas the GB-BSi7HT-6500 adds one SATA 6 Gb/sec interface for 2.5-inch drive. All other specifications are analogous for the mini-PCs.

Monitor Asus PA248Q Review

The market of displays is full of models with the 16:9 height-to-width aspect ratio, what can't be said about 16:10 models which go in quite scant supply. Still, the latter are of great demand among computer enthusiasts. The inventory of monitors produced by Asus includes models of various height-to-width aspect ratio. EKL Outs Alpenfohn Matterhorn Series of CPU Coolers

EKL comes out to the European market with a pair of CPU coolers, entitled Alpenfohn Matterhorn Black and White Edition. Both items feature 138x100x158 mm dimensions and are differentiated only by color design. They are targeted the majority of up-to-date platforms, including Intel (LGA 775/115x/1366/2011/2011-v3) and AMD (FM2+/FM2/FM1/AM2/AM2+/AM3/AM3+) versions.



EKL Alpenfohn Matterhorn coolers consist of an aluminum heatsink, six 6-mm copper heatpipes, and a single WingBoost 2 fan (120 mm). It is known to support PWM technology that ensures its rotation within 500 RPM – 1500 RPM ranges. This fan produces up to 62.4 CFM airflow and not more than 18.2 dB noise level.
