D-Link Starts Shipping High-Speed Cloud Router 5700

D-Link has expanded its lineup of network solutions with a new router model Cloud Router 5700. This router is known to provide an unmatched speed of data transferring due to the improvement of network technologies. The model is able to support Wi-Fi 802.11ac standards and can reach 1.75 Gb/sec. According to the nominal specifications, this type of wireless connection achives the maximal speed of 1.3 Gb/sec on data trasfer. However, manufacturers claim that their new product is going to surpass the previously voiced data.

Cloud Router 5700 has been designed to operate in two modes: Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Wi-Fi 802.11n. This ensures the additional speed of 450 Mb/sec. One of the peculiarities realized in this model is the availability of Cloud App application. This application allows for remote monitoring and control over the local network. Thus, each customer receives extra facilities for the efficient employment of the device. D-Link product supports IPv6 standards and such security …

System on Module Sauris AM3517/05 Sales Start

The official website of Sauris company is dazzled by the information about the sales start of the systems on modules AM3517/05. The new systems are based on high-performance microprocessors TI Sitara AM3517 or AM3505 developed in the SODIMM-204 form-factor. System designers have extended the data bus to 16 bit and connected it with the flash-memory chip. The extension of data bus allowed for the acceleration of the OS loading. In addition, the systems are equipped with a new keyboard controller that enables the connection of up to 80 keys; the integration of such solution permitted the designers to refuse from the additional elements of keyboard protection from electrostatic restrictions.

The module configuration includes memory of EEPROM type in 64 KB volume capacity, SDRAM DDR2-166 memory in 256 MB capacity, and flash-memory of NAND type in 256 MB capacity. The interface list boasts a number of facilities including Ethernet 10/100 Mb/sec, CAN 2.0b, USBx2, LVDS, McSPI, McBSP, …

Gigabyte Showcases GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming WaterForce WB 8G Video Card

Gigabyte has developed a video card, based on Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 adapter, which provides for freedom in choosing the liquid cooling system with an open contour. The GeForce GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming WaterForce WB 8G comes with a pre-installed water block that entirely covers the frontal part, enhancing the cooling effect on the GPU, power elements as well as memory chips. In order to achieve the maximal heat dissipation performance, the user just needs to connect the card to the liquid cooler contour.

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming WaterForce WB 8G takes Nvidia GP104-400 GPU as the basis (Pascal micro-architecture). The GPU consists of 2560 CUDA, 160 TMUs & 64 ROPs. The model is able to operate in two modes: OC and Gaming. In OC mode the core runs at 1784/1936 MHz frequency (basic/dynamic), while in Gaming mode the showings are more modest: 1759/1898 MHz frequency.

To continue, the GPU is accompanied by 8 GB of GDDR5X memory (256-bit interface) which operates at …
