Nanoxia Launches the Second Deep Silence Chassis

Nanoxia has announced its plans to start shipping a new chassis series, codenamed Deep Silence 2. The first generation of Deep Silence PC chassis was introduced more than 1.5 year ago, however, all devotees of German standards and reliability were looking forward to the next product designed by Nanoxia. Deep Silence 2 is a Mid-Tower casing which supports the motherboards of ATX, E-ATX, mini-ITX, and micro-ATX standards. The new product will be available in four color gamuts: black, white, silver (front panels) and absolutely white edition.

Chassis Deep Silence 2 is distinguished by the implementation of heightened sound-proof casing properties. Internal part of side panels is finished with a dedicated sound-proof material, while PSU and drive sections accommodate rubber pads which mitigate the noise or vibration. Meet New Frameless U2717D Monitor from Dell

Taking into account an ascending popularity of WQHD displays, Dell decided to expand its portfolio by a new high-resolution monitor – the UltraSharp U2717D. The model is based on 27-inch IPS panel with the top brightness index (350 cd/m2). It is also notable for the widest viewing angles (178/178 degrees) and a relatively fast response time (6 ms). Pricing has not been announced yet.

Dell UltraSharp U2717D features 2560x1440 resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio and 1000:1 contrast index. It promises the coverage of 99% RGB environment as well as the highest color rendering (DeltaE <2).

The other attraction of the monitor is nearly frameless design: the display is edged by an ultra-thin frame, replenished by a multifunction stand. Hard drives still confidently dominate on the notebook market, according to analysts

SSDs are gradually penetrating into mobile computers, but can not yet can become a serious competitor of hard disk drives. Even recently observed slowdown in demand for notebooks with hard drives will not lead to a decrease of the part pf these models in favour of laptops, where SSD is the main storage, analysts believe.

According to the first quarter of this year, models from the HDD larger than 500GB, offered at $ 450-550, formed the largest segment of the market at a rate of 32% of total deliveries. Second place with 26% take laptops with HDD capacity over 320GB, which cost $ 350-450. They are followed by models with HDD larger than 640GB ($ 550-650 price range), than go HDD larger than 750GB ($ 650-750), they are followed — with 250 GB HDD (price less than $ 350), next — the HDD larger than 1 TB ($ 750-900).
