Asus Showcases New PB238TR Monitor with Unprecedented Specs

Asus has recently showcased one more high-end PC monitor – the PB238TR. It features 23 inch display and boasts 549x323.7x244.5 mm dimensions (with stand). The model is peculiar by the support of Human Sensor technology. The latter keeps track of the user’s presence; on his absence for a predetermined time period, the monitor turns to a standby mode. This promotes for a well-judged power consumption, resulting in a dramatic cost efficiency.



Asus PB238TR is based on IPS array with 6 ms response time and Full HD resolution (1920x1080). IPS ensures also a perfect color rendering, wide viewing angles (178/178 degrees in both aspects), 250 cd/m2 maximal brightness, as well as a striking dynamic contrast of 50M:1. The model is furnished with onboard speakers (2W each) and two video ports: D-Sub and DVI-D. Connectivity with external peripherals is realized by means of two USB 2.0 ports.

Asus has unveiled one more non-trivial proprietary creation: VN289QL monitor. The new-comer features 660x556x247 mm dimensions (with stand) and 28-inch VA panel. Despite a stylish design, the model offers a quite useful Eye Care option. It is called to dramatically reduce eye fatigue on prolonged working sessions, due to the enforcement of stable backlit functioning and decrease of blue light emissions.



Asus VN289QL supports Full HD resolution and features the whole range of specifications each hi-end monitor should have: 16:9 aspect ratio, 5 ms response time, high static and dynamic contract – 3000:1/80M:1 correspondingly, widest viewing angles – 178/178 degrees V/H, and highest brightness – 300 cd/m2. D-Link has expanded its lineup of network solutions with a new router model Cloud Router 5700. This router is known to provide an unmatched speed of data transferring due to the improvement of network technologies.
