Graphics Adapter Gigabyte GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost with Modified Frequencies

Taking the lead from a number of Nvidia’s partners, Gigabyte has launched its own sample piece of GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost graphics adapter. It is differentiated primarily by modified GPU and memory frequencies, as well as by an improved PCB design. The latter employs Ultra Durable 2 technology that stipulates the implementation of high-quality hardware components, including ferrite chokes, solid-state capacitors, and Low RDS Mosfets transistors with reduced resistance on mode changes.

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost is based on GK106 GPU, developed under 28 nm technological process. Its nominal frequency has been increased from the reference 980 MHz to 1033 MHz, while its dynamic frequency has been changed from 1032 MHz to 1098 MHz. This graphics adapter is furnished with 1 GB of GDDR5 memory, which clock frequencies have been, vice versa, lowered: nominal index dropped from 1502 MHz to 1250 MHz, dynamic index dropped from 6008 MHz to 5000 MHz.

Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 Enters into the Market

News about the forthcoming release of the updated motherboard Sabertooth 990FX was voiced by Asus earlier this year. Nevertheless, the release of long-awaited motherboard has been delayed till mid August, and these days the product can be already found in the market. Primarily, Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 is notable for the availability of OS Windows 8 conformance certificate.

The updated motherboard is compatible with AM3 and AM3+ processors and boasts a bunch of advanced solutions. Among the most striking innovations implemented by Asus, the substitute of old-fashioned JMicron JMB362 controller by a more progressive controller from ASMedia added to the board's functionality. In addition, the manufacturer supplemented the layout with one more ASMedia ASM1042 controller that allowed to integrate USB 3.0 interface. The implemented in earlier version micro scheme Realtek RTL8111E has been also substituted by RTL8111F scheme; at the same time, IEEE 1394a interface has been totally …

Adata to Launch Budgetary SSD SP600 Series

Adata has lately announced the launch of a new SSD series codenamed SP600. The drive will supplement the company's line of budgetary solutions but will feature high-end specifications. SP600 is going to have SATA III interface with the throughput capacity of 6 Gb/sec. The series will house NAND MLC flash-memory chips and JMicron JMF661 controller.

This way, Adata aims to attract customers who require outstanding performance but, at the same time, who cannot afford buying too expensive drives. In addition, this model will suit those people who would like to transit their systems from traditional hard drives to more efficient SSD solutions.

Adata SP600 will be delivered in three volume capacities, — 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB – which will be developed in 2.5-inch form-factor. All models provide for the reduction of OS loading time and the increase of overall system speed, if compared with standard HDD performance. These SSDs ensure the data transfer speed at levels of 360 …
