Water-Cooling System EK-Supremacy KIT H3O 360 HFX Review

Water-cooling systems have been always supposed to be an efficacious means of managing hot temperatures within PC chassis. EKWB, a Slovenian manufacturer of cooling equipment, currently supplies not only fluid-cooling components separately (waterblocks, fans, heatsinks, etc.), but also the entire kits as ready-made solutions to be integrated within PC enclosures. Not so long ago the company introduced a flagship kit, EK-Supremacy KIT H3O 360 HFX, that belongs to the high-end solutions and involves all necessary details for hassle-free employment.

Delivery Kit

One can find here a voluminous heatsink with a set of fixing screws, three 120 mm fans, a pump fixing kit, a waterblock, an expansion tank, branded TUBE Masterkleer hosepipe (2 meters in length), eight nickel-plated compression fittings (EK-PSC), and 100 ml of coolant …

IEI Releases Small-Type Motherboards Kino-CVR-D25502/N26002

IEI has replenished its line of products with a motherboard series intended for application in small-type home PCs due to the implemented mini-ITX form-factor. All previous products of this manufacturer were basically oriented on the enterprise sector, however IEI decided to widen its facilities by developing quite new motherboards for home use. The series is represented by two models: Kino-CVR-D25502 and N26002 which have got a lot of common, as well as, different parameters.

In fact, the major distinctions between the two models can be dwindled down to the implemented processors. Kino-CVR—D2550 employs two-core Intel Atom processor D2550, while N26002 model is equipped with Intel Atom 2600. The difference is seen also in clock frequencies and RAM volume capacities. D2550 is able to achieve 1.86 GHz and is notable for 4 GB RAM capacity; N2600 achieves 1.6 GHz and characterizes by only 2 GB RAM capacity.

IEI Kino-CVR motherboards employ Intel ICH10R southern bridge. RAM …

Greeting Asus Maximus VI Formula Gaming Motherboard

Asus is going to put on sale its newest LGA1150 motherboard of ROG (Republic of Gamers) series, entitled Maximus VI Formula. The board features ATX form-factor and is based on Intel Z87 chipset that supports all Haswell-based Intel Core processors. The most peculiar thing about the new-comer is the availability of ROG Armor enclosure that covers the PCB on both sides. The top cover is made of ABS; it prevents the heat produced by the surrounding components (i.e. graphics adapters) from warming up the CPU and VRM systems. The rear cover is made of SECC steel that stops the PCB from bending.

Motherboard Maximus VI Formula houses four DIMM slots that support up to 32 GB dual-channel DDR3 memory modules with up to 3100 O.C MHz frequencies. 8-channel VRM system consists of NexFET transistors, Black Wing throttles, and high-efficiency solid-state capacitors. All power components are cooled down by a dedicated heatsink that is a part of a liquid-cooling system. This motherboard model …
