Red Dragon Radeon RX 560 2GB GDDR5 OC and Red Dragon Radeon RX 560 4GB GDDR5 OC from PowerColor

Not to lag behind other vendors the PowerColor company has presented a couple of Radeon RX 560 video cards. We should note that these cards utilize the renamed Polaris 11 GPU with 1024 active streaming processors. At the moment such accelerators are not available on sale, however they are to hit the market by the end of the month.

Thus, PowerColor has produced the Red Dragon Radeon RX 560 2GB GDDR5 OC, alongside with the Red Dragon Radeon RX 560 4GB GDDR5 OC samples, differing in the memory volume (which is observable from their names) and in the GPU frequency. The higher model’s Boost clock equals to 1,180 MHz, and the lower model’s rate is 1,288 MHz. The effective memory in both cases operates at 7,000 MHz.

Chilling of PowerColor specialties is ensured by a cooler with big heatsink. The auxiliary power connector is absent. The interface set includes DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort (x3).

Release of Cooling System MK-26 from Prolimatech

Prolimatech made one more step to the leadership in cooling system segment by releasing a new cooler MK-26 last week. The new product is primarily intended at cooling GPUs integrated in graphics solutions developed by Nvidia and AMD. This model is differentiated by perceptibly voluminous dimensions which reach 230x146x47 mm. The nominal delivery set of MK-26 includes the most essential components, along with the brand PK-3 thermal compound.

The framework is designed with the efficiency and performance in mind. The cooler has got a nickel-based bottom part and six heat pipes. In their turn, the pipes accommodate two arrays of aluminum ribs which are manufactured under Buckle Fin technology. With the aim to enforce the performance, the user is able to locate a couple of 120 mm or 140 mm fans on the radiators. Graphics card together with this cooling system takes only two slots on the motherboard.

Moreover, according to the manufacturer's words, Prolimatech MK-26 is capable …

This gives evidences that the model belongs to budgetary solutions. Despite this fact, SST-RL01 might satisfy all needs of not versed audience.

Integration

Chassis SilverStone SST-RL01 is developed in midi-tower form factor with bottom PSU localization. The airflow is efficiently managed through the top panel of the casing, while both side panels are void of any ventilation grids. One striking peculiarity is that the manufacturer hasn't stipulated the availability of fan on the rear board, though this is a loyal attribute of the majority casings. The clipboard consists of a dull bulging frame, black metallic …
