AMD Has Officially Launched the Sale of Its Ryzen 7 CPUs

The AMD has just officially announced the beginning of its AMD Ryzen CPUs sale, designed for desktop PCs. The development of these processors took 4 years, and now customers can enjoy the results of the process – the up-to-date CPUs, based on the brand-new AMD Zen microarchitecture.



The first to hit the stores were three 16-thread 8-core Ryzen 7 line samples: 1700, 1700X and 1800X. The base clock of Ryzen 7 1800X is 3.6 GHz, 1700X – 3.4 GHz, 1700 – 3.0 GHz. Boost frequencies are equal to 4.0, 3.8 and 3.7 GHz respectively. 1800X and 1700X feature 95 W TDP, the 1700 model’s rate is 65 W. Ryzen 7 1800X costs $499, 1700X – $399, 1700 – $329.

In the second quarter 6- and 4-core Ryzen 5 products will be released, and later this year they will be joined by Ryzen 3 models. All these devices are intended for system boards with AM4 sockets and possess an unlocked multiplier.

Meet New Mammoth MM01 PC Chassis from SilverStone

SilverStone Technology is about to launch a new full-tower chassis, entitled Mammoth MM01 (codename: SST-MM01B). Featuring 597x271x542 mm dimensions, the greenhorn might fit any environment due to a sleek all-black design. Kingston Showcases New SSDNow KC300 Series

Kingston Digital, an established developer and supplier of highly efficient storage solutions, has officially introduced its new line of solid-state drives that entered SSDNow series. Entitled KC300, this line is targeted at a vast audience, starting from corporate clients and finishing with average customers. KC300 includes five models of 60 GB, 120 GB, 180 GB, 240 GB, and 480 GB capacities. According to Kingston, the new entries are supposed to substitute the two preceding SSD lines: Kingston KC100 and Kingston V+200.



SSDs KC300 are designed in 2.5-inch form-factor and feature SATA III 6 Gb/sec interface. LSI SandForce SF-2281 controller is the heart of each drive model. All items included in the series support DuraClass, DuraWrite, S.M.A.R.T. and RAISE technologies that substantially enhance their efficiency.
