APU AMD A10-4600M Review

Intel and AMD companies have established a good reputation for providing efficient hardware solutions for all customer groups. Each new product introduced by the two companies enters the top sales ranks and this promotes for the competition. AMD has recently produced a new APU solution based on Trinity architecture with graphics module VLIW4 and called it AMD A10-4600M. This model can boast the whole spectrum of improvements and advanced features as compared with its predecessor APU Llano, and is intended to beat its rival Intel in efficiency and performance.

CPU Trinity is based on Piledriver micro architecture which superseded Bulldozer from AMD. The distinctive feature of Piledriver is that it’s primarily integrated in a mobile APU. The Mid-Tower X2 Samurai Case from Spire Is ATX and MicroATX Motherboards Compatible

The X2 products range of the Dutch-Chinese Spire Company has been replenished by a new Mid-Tower Samurai chassis, which is ATX and MicroATX motherboards compatible.



X2 Samurai is produced out of 0.5 mm SPCC steel and is capable to hold seven 1-slot expansion cards, an АТХ-compatible power unit, two 3.5” and a pair of 2.5” drives, as well as two devices of the 5,25” format. This novelty allows to install up to five 120 mm fans.


The PC case is designed in two versions: with a fully acrylic and with a perforated side panel, providing a prospect for installing 2 extra 120 mm fans. Please, note, that the X2 Samurai supply kit doesn’t include illuminated fans, which, however, add showiness to outer appearance. The I/O panel features one USB 2.0, two USB 3.0 ports, a universal card-reader slot and a couple of Mini-Jack.

Intel Debuts with the 7th-Generation Core CPUs

Intel announces the next, 7th generation of Intel Core processors, aka Intel Kaby Lake. The Intel U and the Intel Y series models were the first to debut. Each series involves three models, based on 14 nm Intel Skylake microarchitecture. Optimized design promises 12% increase in performance, if compared with the 6th-gen solutions.



New Intel Core CPUs are known to support 10-bit HEVC & VP9 standards which ensure high-quality operation in 4K Ultra HD and 4K Ultra HD 360 environments. All greenhorns come with an integrated Intel Speed Shift technology which secures fast responsiveness on web surfing.
