Radeon RX 560 Aero ITX 2G OC and Radeon RX 560 Aero ITX 4G OC are Based on Short PC-Boards and Fit for Compact Cases

Recently the MSI Company has added two new graphics cards to its products range. These are the Radeon RX 560 Aero ITX 2G OC and the Radeon RX 560 Aero ITX 4G OC models. Having much in common, they differ in the memory volume only.

The MSI cards GPU features the 1,295 MHz boost clock, which is 20 MHz higher comparing to the recommended value. Memory operates at the standard 7,000 MHz frequency.

We should highlight, though, that MSI samples are constructed on the base of short printed-circuit boards of 155 mm length, which allow to install them into compact PC cases. The cooling system is not very complicated. It consists of a modest-sized cooler with an aluminium heatsink and a single fan. MSI specialties do not require additional power supply.

Radeon RX 560 Aero ITX 2G OC and the Radeon RX 560 Aero ITX 4G OC have a default interfaces set, represented by such ports as DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort.

Zalman Boasts a New Line of PSUs with an Improved Design

The line of products manufactured by Zalman has been just replenished with a new series of power supply units, codenamed Zalman LX. The series is currently represented by two models of 500 W and 600 W power: ZM500-LX and ZM600-LX. Both units employ an improved Dual Forward Converter Circuit design that ensures reliable and efficient functioning. They are also equipped with a single +12V rail and show compatibility with Intel ATX12V 2.31 standard.

Zalman LX PSUs utilize a couple of PCI Express sockets (one 6-contact and one 6+2-contact) for the connection with graphics cards, securing the support of AMD CrossFireX and Nvidia SLI technologies. Cooling of all internal components is ascribed to a low-noise fan of 120 mm dimensional type. Its operation is automatically monitored by Smart Fan Control system that provides for the achievement of an optimal balance between its efficiency and noise level.

The new-comers support a large amount of protective options that promote for …

Motherboard MSI Z270 Gaming M5 Review (Part II)

So, let's continue reviewing the new motherbord recently released by the MSI company — Z270 Gaming M5.

UEFI Features

The MSI company UEFI appearance has not at all changed. It is called the Click BIOS 5. A mechanism M-Flash, which has already worked without any remarks, is used to update the firmware. Basic mode allows to learn in detail about the processor, memory and storage devices used in the system. Moreover, here you can customize the work of coolers, enable XMP profile, or use the services of instant acceleration realized by the company’s engineers. The selected shell items may be optionally gathered in one of the five individual sections.

Hardware Monitor component will show the four most important current values for voltages acceleration. Just six coolers can change the momentum by scripts generated on the board. An interactive version is exclusively used for CPU 1 and PUMP 1 pads. The four system fans operate initially at a fixed speed, but still you can …
