So, let's continue reviewing the new motherbord recently released by the MSI company — Z270 Gaming M5.


UEFI Features

The MSI company UEFI appearance has not at all changed. It is called the Click BIOS 5. A mechanism M-Flash, which has already worked without any remarks, is used to update the firmware. Basic mode allows to learn in detail about the processor, memory and storage devices used in the system. Moreover, here you can customize the work of coolers, enable XMP profile, or use the services of instant acceleration realized by the company’s engineers. The selected shell items may be optionally gathered in one of the five individual sections.


Hardware Monitor component will show the four most important current values for voltages acceleration. Just six coolers can change the momentum by scripts generated on the board. Presentation of Workstations and Graphics Servers of ESC Series

Asus has recently presented workstations and graphics servers of the second generation ESC series. The new series includes ESC4000 G2, ESC1000 G2 and ESC2000 G2 models which serve the function of high-end platforms for GPGPU applications in such fields as medical research, financial modeling, computer-aided design, animation and 3D-rendering. The systems can boast a wide spectrum of options and outstanding integration; they are able to support high-end Intel processors and four graphics cards, and are equipped with the efficient PSU and expansion slots PCI Express 3.0x16.



All three models of ESC series are furnished with high-quality PSU which correspond to the 80Plus standard. VivoPC X by ASUS Is a Small Desktop for Newbies Among VR-Gamers

The VivoPC X desktop computer by ASUS is not bigger than an Xbox One and weighs approximately 2.3 kg only, however, it’s a fully-featured PC, operated by Windows 10 and supporting VR. At the same time, it’s worth admitting, that the hardware is intended rather for beginners than for old hands at the game.



ASUS VivoPC X is equipped with a Kaby Lake Intel Core i5 CPU, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card and 8 GB of RAM memory. The 512 GB SSD is used for data storage, and the connectivity possibilities are provided by four USB 3.1 and two USB 2.0 ports. In addition, this novelty features 802.11ac Wi-Fi, the Gigabit Ethernet, two HDMI ports and a DisplayPort with the NVIDIA G-Sync technology support.


Inner components of the device are protected from overheating due to the heat pipe cooling system and plenty of vents.
