Cryorig Readies a Pair of Uncanny Ola & Taku Chassis

Cryorig, a renowned designer of CPU coolers & fans, decided to expand its expertise by developing a couple of one-off PC chassis – the Ola and the Taku. Both greenhorns are differentiated by an extraordinary design, a far cry from traditional tower-cases. They are thought to support mini-ITX motherboards and come with a pair of drive bays (2.5-/3.5-inch). The models will be promulgated within the framework of the Computex 2016.



Presumably, Cryorig Ola’s cylindrical case features 378.5x226x205 mm dimensions. Cryorig Taku positions itself as a monitor stand, featuring 567x270x134.8 mm dimensions. Their internal layout allows for the installation of SFX power supply units (130-mm long) as well as 280/240-mm long videocards. New Midi-Tower Chassis Series Xpredator X1 from Aerocool

The line of chassis designed by Aerocool has been supplemented by a new Xpredator series codenamed X1. The series is developed in midi-tower form-factor and will be of particular interest to gamers and enthusiasts. The chassis is ready to support the motherboards of ATX and micro-ATX standard, CPU coolers up to 158 mm in height and graphics cards up to 400 mm in length. Aerocool Xpredator X1 is delivered in black and white edition. Both editions are distinguished by a splashy and provoking design. The Asus VivoPC X Mini PC, Compatible with VR headsets, Costs $799

In January Asus announced the VivoPC X mini PC, and last week the company notified its customers of this product retail launch. Thus, the system details have become known to general public.



Asus VivoPC X features a 4-core Intel Core i5 7300HQ processor, operated by Windows 10 Home at the 3.2 GHz frequency, 8 or 16 GB DDR4-2400 memory, the SATA M.2 SSD of 512 GB capacity and the 2 TB SATA HDD of the 2.5” form factor. The configuration includes the 3D Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 card with 3 GB of the GDDR5 memory, which supports the 4К resolution and allows connecting up to three Full HD monitors. The key specification is the opportunity to use this mini PC with VR headsets and get as much entertainment as possible.
