Gigabyte Comes Out with Three New Xtreme Gaming Videocards

Gigabyte decided to supplement its Xtreme Gaming series of graphics cards with three new models, following the recent launch of 5 other items. The GV-N970Xtreme C-4GD, Gigabyte GV-N980Xtreme C-4GD and GV-N98Xtreme C-6GD greenhorns come with a modified design and adjusted clocks. The triplet is bundled with a brand OC Guru II utility to further enhance the cards’ performance.

Each model from Gigabyte Xtreme series boasts independent specifications to satisfy the needs of various customers. The only analogous feature is a set of integrated video interfaces: 1x HDMI, 1x DVI-I and 3x DisplayPort.

Gigabyte GV-N970Xtreme C-4GD rests upon Nvidia GM204-200 GPU (1664 CUDA cores), running at 1051/1178 MHz frequency. It is accompanied by 4 GB of GDDR5 memory (256-bit rail) that operates at 7100 MHz efficient frequency level. Gigabyte GV-N980Xtreme C-4GD is based on Nvidia GM204-400 GPU with 2048 CUDA cores; its base/dynamic frequency showings equal to 1127/1216 MHz. This model …

‘Extraordinary’ Design of Flash Drive Kingmax UI-05

The market of flash drives is full of offers from multiple designers, however Kingmax company surpassed all competitors by introducing an ‘extraordinary’ product. This singularity basically consists in a drive’s design: the part of the casing is transparent, and this enables the user to watch over the work of an internal flash-memory chip through the glass window. No other company dared for such an experiment so far and the drive is supposed to become a real hit in the market.

Kingmax UI-05 has got a metallic streamline casing which serves a solid shield for the memory chip and other electronics. The transparent glass window is lighted up by the blue LED that indicates the drive’s operational mode. The flash drive has USB 3.0 socket and is based on the Chip-on-Board technology where the memory chip is fixed directly at the circuit board. It goes in 4, 8, 16, and 32 GB volume capacity to satisfy the needs of any customer.

Kindmax UI-05 developers stressed out that …

Release of Security Acceleration Module from Check Point

Check Point representatives have announced the release of their new creation Security Acceleration module. This module has been developed with the heightened security in mind, and according to the up-to-date hardware acceleration methodology with the consideration of the requirements stipulated by the high-performance environment.

Check Point is notable for the design of an advanced SecurityCore hardware-based technology which stimulated the development of a module with the firewall bandwidth of 110 Gbit/sec. At the same time, the latency level doesn’t exceed the margin of 5 microseconds. This technology employs parallel computing capabilities used for the process acceleration and safety. The module is equipped with 108 cores which allow the central processor to swap-out and transfer the vast majority of operations connected with the security issues to the Security Acceleration module. In its turn, this provides for the better safety options in network environment.
