Corsair Outs H105 CPU Liquid Cooler from Hydro Series

Corsair is glad to announce an official release of a new CPU liquid cooler from Hydro series. Entitled H105, the greenhorn is remarkable by easy mounting without any tools and by absence of need in maintenance. Both models are compatible with the majority of latter-day platforms, embracing AMD Socket AM2, AM3, FM1, and FM2, as well as Intel LGA 2011, 1150, 1155, 1156, and 1366.

Corsair Hydro Series H105 consists of a massive heatsink (272.5x120x38 mm dimensions), a small-sized waterblock with a copper plate and micro-channels, and a pair of low-noise fans. The augmentation of heatsink thickness from 27 to 38 mm resulted in the widening of heat dissipation area. The waterblock is furnished with a bright backlight.

Two 120 mm SP120L fans feature 120x120x25 mm dimensions. Their rotational speed is adjusted by means of PWM technology, relying on CPU temperature. Hence, they operate in a quite extensive rotational range: 800-2700 RPM. Their maximal airflow achieves the margin …

Asus Boasts One More Graphics Adapter with a Two-Slot Cooler

Asus has replenished its graphics card series based on Kepler architecture with a brand variation of one-chip GeForce GTX 680 adapter. Brand Asus GeForce GTX 680 card has been developed on an original in design circuit board and is notable by the doubled to 4GB GDDR5 memory capacity. Nevertheless, the most outstanding characteristic of a new product is the implementation of a two-slot cooling system, codenamed DirectCU II. Earlier Asus equipped its GeForce GTX 680 adapters with three-slot coolers.

The company decided to concentrate mainly on the introduction of an uncommon cooling system, leaving all frequency showings identical to the recommended by Nvidia index. Thus, graphics core operates at 1006 MHz frequency, while memory module works at 6008 MHz. Memory chips are soldered on both sides of the circuit board. The reverse side of PCB is covered by an aluminum plate that is in direct contact with GDDR5 chips.

Akasa Prepares Its Euler for Upcoming Release

Recent global IT exhibition Computex 2012 has given promising prospects for Akasa company that introduced its new brand chassis. Codenamed Euler, this chassis might serve the basis for the noiseless mini-PCs. Due to the implementation of aluminum casing in design and its simultaneous substitute of a radiator, this device is able to function along with passive cooling system.

Akasa representatives have provided the Internet community with the first shots of Euler. Those pictures demonstrate that the future product will consist of a block which will remove the excessive heat from the CPU and its surrounding components. The model will support devices which show up to 35W TDP index. This chassis will be compatible with motherboards of mini-ATX form-factor and low-capacity two-core processors.

According to the words of the company's representatives, Euler is going to be released this September. The price policy has not been voiced so far, but hardware specialists are certain …
