AMD has replenished its product line with a new hybrid processor with appreciably low power consumption. G-T16R belongs to the Embedded G-Series line and is a part of AMD Brazos 2.0 platform. This APU is primarily destined for the embedded systems employment. AMD representatives stress out that G-T16R is an appropriate solution to be used in transport equipment, trade and cash desk stations, medical electronics, as well as in industrial administrative systems.

The company has managed to design its hybrid processor in a way to make it more saving than any other product of the same line. Thus, the average power consumption level equals to 2.3 W with Thermal Design Profile (TDP) of 4.5 W. This 21.5-inch device with 527x49x370 mm dimensions is primarily targeting enterprise market, featuring an optimized set of facilities for the solution of various business tasks. It is powered by Intel Haswell Core i5-4210M CPU, running at 2.6 GHz (up to 3.2 GHz on overclocking), accompanied by an integrated HD Graphics 4600 chip.
