Corsair Put Flash Voyager Slider USB 3.0 into Common Use

Corsair company, a recognized developer and provider of PC system components, has just announced about the release of their new product Flash Voyager Slider USB 3.0. This USB-drive has a retractable framework which ensures the socket protection and ease of usage. Flash Voyager Slider USB 3.0 goes in several volume capacities to satisfy the needs of any customer: 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB.

Corsair’s representatives describe Flash Voyager Slider USB 3.0 as the device with high speed performance and proven durability. In order to avoid mere words, the company provides a 5-year guarantee for all drives of this series. It should be mentioned that speed performance of this drive depends on its volume capacity. Thus, the drives of 8 GB and 16 GB capacity are able to develop the speed up to 70 MB/sec in consecutive reading mode, and up to 20 MB/sec in consecutive writing mode. The drives of 32 GB capacity prove to develop the speeds up to 80 MB/sec and 40 MB/sec in consecutive …

ASRock Introduces Affordable H110M-DS/Hyper Mainboard

ASRock enters the market with another budget-oriented micro-ATX mainboard – the H110M-DS/Hyper (the recommended price makes up $60). The greenhorn is designed on Intel H110 chipset as well as ASRock Hyper BCLK Engine. The latter realizes the overclocking of Intel Skylake CPUs (for Socket LGA1151) by means of BCLK alteration; therewith, all other key nodes operate off-the-shelf.

ASRock H100M-DS/Hyper employs 4+1-phase power subsystem. The PCB accommodates 2x DIMM slots for DDR4-2133 MHz RAM with the maximal volume of 32 GB. Storage subsystem is represented by four SATA III ports, whereas expansion facilities include one PCIe 3.0 x16 and one PCIe 2.0 x1 ports.

Audio subsystem is governed by Realtek ALC887 controller and three 3.5-mm sockets. In its turn, network facilities are backed by Realtek RTL8111GR controller. Connectivity options embrace one RJ-45 port, one DVI video port, two PS/2 ports, and four USB ports for peripherals (both v 2.0 and v 3.0).

Kingmax Enlarges the SME Xvalue Lineup with Two New SSD Series

Kingmax, a renowned manufacturer of various data storage and memory solutions, has replenished its SME Xvalue lineup of solid-state drives with a pair of new series. Codenamed SME 32 Xvalue and SME 35 XValue, both series count three models of 60 GB, 120 GB, and 240 GB capacities. It should be noted that the first lineup is predestined to be installed into laptops and small-sized devices, whereas the second one – into desktop PCs.

SME Xvalue SSDs are designed in 2.5-inch form-factor and feature 100.5x69.85x7 mm dimensions. All of them employ SATA 6 Gb/sec interface and are based on MLC NAND flash memory. The drives can operate under 5V voltage within the temperature ranges of 0-+70 degrees. The manufacturer claims that their fail-proof operation time might achieve an unbelievable index — 1.200.000 hours.

In terms of performance, the implementation of advanced memory chips promotes for rather striking speed characteristics. Hence, the maximal sequential Read speed makes …
