Arctic Cooling Intros Two Modifications of Freezer CPU Cooler

Arctic Cooling AG, a well-known Swiss developer of cooling solutions, has recently introduced its newest CPU cooler, Freezer, in two modifications: i11 and A11. Both versions have got tower-like framework, featuring 108x90x130 mm dimensions. The Freezer i11 is compatible with Intel LGA 2011/1156/1155/1150 socket platforms, whereas its companion is intended for AMD Socket FM1, FM2, AM3, AM3+, AM2, and AM2+. To say more, this pair is able to cool down the ‘blaze’ of CPUs with 150 W TDP.

Arctic Freezer i11/A11 consists of an aluminum heatspreader with forty-five plates, three U-shape copper heatpipes, and one 92 mm fan. The heatpipes are thought to support direct contact technology that dramatically improves heat transfer process.

The implemented fan is developed on a fluid dynamic bearing and is equipped with a PWM controller. The latter assures that the blades could change their rotational speed within the ranges from 500 RPM to 2000 RPM. Herein, the maximal airflow …

CPU Cooler SilverStone NT06-PRO Review

The tendency of assembling small-sized but efficient system units is becoming more apparent among all PC users. Nowadays the extensive occurrence of mini-tower chassis and mini-ITX motherboards requires the employment of corresponding pocket-size CPU coolers. Unfortunately, the latter are practically a rarity, however the demand for small but highly productive coolers is rising on daily basis. SilverStone is one of the few companies that elaborated such kind of products. Its latest NT06-PRO combines all advantages each full-sized model has and is ready to provide a truly efficient cooling.

Design and Framework

SilverStone NT06-PRO is a worthy representative of Nitrogen series. It features a bit unusual design with horizontal orientation. It consists of a voluminous heatsink, counting fifty-two aluminum plates, six C-shape heatpipes, and one fan, mounted underneath the heatsink. Such framework ensures a stable cooling of motherboard nodes and CPU environment. All aluminum …

Cryorig Readies a Pair of Uncanny Ola & Taku Chassis

Cryorig, a renowned designer of CPU coolers & fans, decided to expand its expertise by developing a couple of one-off PC chassis – the Ola and the Taku. Both greenhorns are differentiated by an extraordinary design, a far cry from traditional tower-cases. They are thought to support mini-ITX motherboards and come with a pair of drive bays (2.5-/3.5-inch). The models will be promulgated within the framework of the Computex 2016.

Presumably, Cryorig Ola’s cylindrical case features 378.5x226x205 mm dimensions. Cryorig Taku positions itself as a monitor stand, featuring 567x270x134.8 mm dimensions. Their internal layout allows for the installation of SFX power supply units (130-mm long) as well as 280/240-mm long videocards. The permissible height of the CPU cooler makes up 82 mm & 42 mm correspondingly.

To continue, the Ola is considered to support CPUs with up to 100 W TDP. The case comes with multiple ventilation grids which are called to improve airflow. The top facet …
