Corsair and Panram to Appear with DDR4 RAM Lineups

Corsair dares to announce the ‘fastest ever DDR4 memory modules’ which entered an award-winning Dominator Platinum series. The new-comers are targeting high-end desktop platforms on Intel Haswell-E basis. They are already optimized for an efficient operation with Intel X99 Express motherboard with Core i7-5960X/i7-5930R/i7-5820K processors, as well as with Asus X99 Deluxe and Asus Rampage V Extreme motherboards.

Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 models are able to achieve 3300 MHz clock frequency, due to the support of fresh overclocking Intel XMP 2.0 profiles. High-frequency memory (3000 MHz and up) is introduced in the shape of 16 GB kits (4x4). All planks feature a sleek and stylish design with 56 mm height, including DHX aluminum heatspreader.

To continue, not only Corsair is ready to astound ever-demanding users. Panram Technology snaps at its heels by launching its own series of DDR4 memory, codenamed Ninja-V Series. The products will be available in 8 GB and 16 …

ECS Debuts with a New GTX660TIA-2GR5-WFM Graphics Card

ECS, a well-known designer of graphics solutions, announces the release of its new graphics card GeForce GTX 660 Ti, also known as GTX660TIA-2GR5-WFM. The card is elaborated on the basis of a reference adapter from Nvidia. GPU GK104 (designed according to 28 nm technological process) is the heart of the model. It consists of 1344 CUDA cores and features 915 MHz nominal frequency that can be dynamically overclocked to 980 MHz.

Memory subsystem of ECS GeForce GTX 660 Ti embraces 2 GB of GDDR5 memory that runs at the nominal 1502 MHz frequency but can be increased to the effective 6008 MHz mark. The manufacturer decided not to alter recommended by Nvidia parameters in their own version. The connection with GPU resources is realized via 192-bit rail.

This graphics card employs PCI-e 3.0 x16 internal interface. A set of external video interfaces totally corresponds to the etalon requirements and involves one DisplayPort, one HDMI, and a pair of DVI ports.

AMD Outs the World’s First Server FirePro S9300 x2 GPU

AMD has proudly announced the release of the world’s first server-grade graphics accelerator. Entitled FirePro S9300 x2, this GPU is called to facilitate in solving complex computing tasks and take graphics to the next level. The card is linked to the power unit by means of two 8-pin connectors, consuming up to 300 W power at most.

The heart of AMD FirePro S9300 x2 is a bundle of two AMD Fiji GPUs (GCN architecture). They feature a pair of 4096 stream processors and run at 850 MHz frequency. Each GPU employs 4 GB of HBM memory that operates at 1000 MHz clock frequency and offers 512 Gb/sec bandwidth.

The integration of two processing aggregates allows the accelerator to achieve some amazing 13.9 TFLOPS of computing power. As a result, the model exceeds in performance its nearest competitors: Nvidia Tesla K80 with 5.6 TFLOPS as well as Nvidia Tesla M60 with 7.4 TFLOPS.

The support for AMD GPUOpen stack is supposed to be the card’s key advantage. This stack enables …
