Zalman, a recognized manufacturer of cooling systems, PC enclosures and other hardware units, is going to replenish its lineup of products with a high-end PSU series. Codenamed GoldRock XG, the series will be represented by three models of 550W, 650W and 750W power efficiency, ZM550-XG, ZM650-XG, and ZM750-XG correspondingly. The preliminary data demonstrates that all models are equipped with high-level components which allow the product to gain 80 Plus Gold certificate standard. Moreover, Zalman claims that its new PSUs will comply with EPS12V v2.92 and ATX12V v2.3 standards.

GoldRock XG power supply units will be distinguished by high efficiency index that will fluctuate within the measures of 88% to 92%. All the models will be released with the implementation of heat-resistant capacitors with solid and liquid insulator. The series will also boast the integration of LLC topology and DC-DC converter. The latter will ensure the utmost reliability and profitability of the …

Meet New Super Cooler PH-TC12DX from Phanteks

Phanteks decided to amaze the public by releasing a new high-performance cooler PH-TC12DX that is able to cope with practically any up-to-date CPU from Intel or AMD. The sales campaign has started from the USA market where the model goes at $55-$60; the price depends on the color version: coolers with black fan impellers and heatsinks go at $55, while models with red, blue or write components cost $60.

Phanteks PH-TC12DX features tower-like framework. Its construction consists of two heatsink blocks, four U-shape heat pipes that pierce those blocks, and two voluminous 120 mm fans which are located on both sides of aluminum heatsink blocks. The latter are designed with an unusual shape of impellers, known as Maelstrom Vortex Booster (MVB). This cooler is equipped with PWM controller that monitors and regulates fan rotational speed; thus, the speed might be adjusted to the minimal 600 RPM and to the maximal 1800 RPM.

The implemented type of bearings provide for 150000 hours …

TUL Unchains Radeon R9 Nano Graphics Card

TUL Corporation announces the release of its own version of Radeon R9 Nano videocard (within the framework of PowerColor brand). The model preserves reference PCB and cooling design, implying its compatibility with mini-ITX PC systems and high-performance home media centers. The new-comer is about to launch at the price tag of $650.

PowerColor Radeon R9 Nano is developed on AMD Fiji XT GPU with 4096 stream processors based on GCN 1.2 architecture, 64 ROPs and 256 TMUs. The core operates at 1000 MHz frequency. It is accompanied by 4 GB of multilayer HBM1 memory with 4096-bit bus and 1000 MHz efficient frequency. The connection to the PSU is realized via a single 8-pin PCI Express Power connector.

To continue, this graphics card is known to support the latest DirectX 12 standard as well as a huge list of AMD technologies: HD3D, FreeSync, Async Shaders, Mantle, CrossFire, Frame Rate Target Control, etc. The TDP index makes up 175 W.
